Cassius stood atop the village house, surveying the chaos below. From his vantage point, he could see Auden, Gibson, and several villagers desperately fleeing from the destruction, trying to reach safety.
Their faces were smeared with ash, some wounded, their fear palpable. Cassius's fists clenched with rage as he watched them struggle, vowing silently to exact revenge upon Emon and his accomplices.
"My Lord! I'm glad you're here!" Gibson's voice cracked with emotion, his face darkened by soot and tears.
"I'm sorry we couldn't protect the village," he apologized, shame weighing heavily on his weary shoulders.
"It's fine, Gibson. I will make sure all of them pay for this mess!" Cassius declared, his fists clenched in rage. His desire for vengeance was palpable.
"Yes, My Lord. But please... Damien and the rest are still fighting them. Please help them!" Auden pleaded, his eyes wide with desperation.
