Chapter 20 - Problem Solved (UPDATE)

The woman's expression darkened, her anger palpable. Rising from her throne, she snapped, "Don't you dare speak of her like that! She is a majestic creature whose name should not be uttered by the likes of you!"

Lucien realized he was in trouble.

The woman then pointed at Lucien, "She is my mother! The greatest sovereign dragon! The best in the world! You need to call her with grace, something like The Mother of Dragon, The First Dragon, The Queen of Inferno, The Great Lord of Dragon, The Sovereign Dragon!" Then, she continued talking about Brigantiea's titles for about fifteen minutes nonstop.

Lucien and Seren looked at her flabbergasted. The elegant and graceful woman was no more. She looked like a child throwing a tantrum.

Meanwhile, Brigantiea observed the scene from her hiding spot as a small red dragon. She looked annoyed, muttering to herself, "Ck, that child! Talking too much."

"So!!! Don't call my mother by her name!" The woman crossed her arms.

"Sure...." Lucien answered awkwardly.

"And get out of my domain! I won't help a human like you," she declared, looking away.

Lucien sighed, contemplating whether to leave or to try persuading her further. But the Crimson Night was only five months away, and he had boasted to Gibson's family that they could defeat the monster easily.

"Let's bring out the big guns!" Lucien thought to himself.

He cleared his throat and raised his palm, saying, "Your mother, I mean, The Mother of Dragon, was the one who ordered me to be here... You can see I have the mark she left behind."

The woman stepped closer to Lucien, snatching his hand to examine it with an unbelieving look. "This! You!" she exclaimed, unable to find the right words.

After a moment of contemplation, she sighed, "Still! I won't come with you. If you need help with golems, just bring one of them. I will lend you!"

'It's better than nothing.' Lucien murmured.

"Sure... It would be-"

Before Lucien could finish his words, Brigantiea flew toward them, transforming from a small red dragon into a humanoid form.

"No, Lithira! You need to get out of this place," she said curtly.

"Mother!" Lithira's eyes brightened when she saw Brigantiea.

"Stop calling me that, You're an adult, grow up," Brigantiea sighed. "You need to get out of this pathetic place and get your life together," her voice firm, as if giving an order.

"But... Mom..." Lithira faltered, looking nervous and unsure of what to say next.

"Now, did you forget what I said earlier?" Brigantiea furrowed her brows.

Lithira stepped back and lowered her gaze. "I'm sorry... But I don't want to leave this place."

"Enough with your pitiful excuses! You're a dragon, have a little pride," Brigantiea said, visibly frustrated.

"No! I'm here because I like it, not because of that accident!" Lithira raised her voice, trying to defend herself.

"You've been in this cave for the last 300 years! Stop acting miserable," Brigantiea sighed, placing her hands on Lithira's shoulders.

"You're already 500 years old and ready to mate. You'll be in heat soon, and I have a perfect match for you." She pointed at Lucien.

Lucien looked puzzled and pointed at himself. "Me? Are you seriously setting me up with your own daughter?"

"She was my daughter! When dragon become an adult, they don't have parent anymore." Brigantiea raised her voice. She stomps her feet to the ground.

Lithira looked at Lucien up and down with a judgmental expression, making him uncomfortable.

He was confident he could charm any woman, but a dragon as beautiful as Lithira? It was a different challenge altogether.

"What's good about him?" Her face twisted into a disgusted expression, leaving Lucien astonished and a little annoyed, while Seren burst into laughter.

"Look at my face, it's more beautiful than yours. I'm already better than you," Lucien retorted a bit salty. He knew he had many good qualities, especially his appearance. If someone missed that, they must be blind.

Lithira's mouth dropped open. "Are you calling me ugly? Even a troll wouldn't call your face beautiful."

"This bitch!" Lucien cursed, feeling frustrated. It was the first time he had cursed at a woman, especially using such a derogatory term.

"Stop!" Brigantiea intervened, separating them. "It's not about his face. Look at this." She pulled down Lucien's pants, revealing his dragon.

"WHAT THE HELL, AT LEAST GIVE ME A SIGNAL FIRST!" Seren screamed, covering her eyes.

Lucien rolled his eyes. "You're the one who wanted to record me having sex, sister. Stop being dramatic."

"And yes, this is also one of my good qualities," he said proudly, gesturing towards his balls.

"Mother! That's vulgar!" Lithira exclaimed, her face turning red.

Brigantiea lifted Lucien's penis and said, "Look at the size of it, you'll be satisfied."

"Come on, it's not even that big! I've seen bigger!" Seren chimed in, her hands still covering her face.

"Shut up, it's above average! And I doubt you've seen one in person, you probably saw it in hentai or porn!"

"Of course not! I... I've seen that in person..." Seren said hesitantly because her brother was right, she just didn't want to admit it.

"Stop closing your eyes, see for yourself, Lithira!" Brigantiea demanded, making Lithira even more nervous. "We'll stay in this position as long as we have to if you don't come out of this cave!"

"ARGH! STOP! Fine, I'll come! Just... Just get it out of my face," Lithira gave in, unable to bear the sight of it. She was still a virgin, after all.

"Great."

Lucien quickly pulled up his pants and acted as if nothing happened. It's not a big deal for all of them, except for Lihira of course.

"And... Can I still call you mother?" she said gazed at Brigantiea.

She sighed and answered, "Fine, just get out of this place."

After that, they talked briefly as he explained the situation in Euclair village. Lithira couldn't meet his gaze, her face still red. She looked adorable in Lucien's eyes, making him want to tease her even more.

But, he won't do it now since he has a more pressing matter to discuss.

"I will help, but with one condition," Lithira suddenly said, her tone somewhat gloomy. "I don't want to step foot into the village."

"This again?" Brigantiea sighed. "How many times do I have to tell you they couldn't even touch you with their weak power?"

"But still... I don't want to..."

Lucien sensed that there was more to it than just met the eyes and finally spoke up. "I don't mind, as long as it doesn't interfere with our work."

Lithira looked at Lucien, her pink eyes brightening. "Really? Thank you!" she said excitedly.

Lucien was taken aback but smiled. "You're too beautiful to still be a virgin."

Lithira blushed. "What? I-I'm not like that!" she stammered, clearly flustered, while Lucien smirked, enjoying her reaction.

"Wow, bro. You just met her and you're already flirting like that? Control your dick, your woman is right by your side," Seren remarked, looking at Lucien with disgust.

Brigantiea simply crossed her arms. "I don't mind," she said with a straight face.

"See, sis? Not all women are as jealous as you. It's just a joke," Lucien teased.

"What a jerk," Seren muttered, rolling her eyes.

With the agreement in place, Lithira reluctantly agreed to lend two of her golems for the construction effort, because the rest needed to be set first so it could help with the construction.

As they made their way back to the village, Lithira chose a spot nearby to establish her domain, ensuring she could keep an eye on things while maintaining her distance.

Upon their return, Gibson's emotions were a rollercoaster, shifting from relief to sheer terror at the sight of the towering golems. Even the workers were stunned and half of them tried to run away.

Golems were not friendly creatures anyway, so their reaction was understandable.

"My lord... what in the world..." Gibson stammered, his voice trembling with fear.

"Don't worry about this, this golem will help us with the construction. They can carry many heavy loads and even become a ladder." Lucien said with pride. "Also another golem will come and they can do more than that."

Gibson's disbelief was palpable, but his trust in Lucien's guidance overshadowed any doubts he may have harbored. "I see... It should be a great help."

"Ah! Yes, My Lord, I already do what you instruct and the video that Lady Seren shows me." Gibson continues with joy in his voice.

Lucien, accompanied by Brigantiea and Seren, then joined Gibson as they made their way to the blacksmith's forge, where Gibson doing the project.

Inspecting the materials before them, the limestone rock already turned into sand. With Gibson's assistance, they began the process of mixing the sand, gravel, and water to achieve the desired consistency.

"How is it, Seren?" Lucien asked.

"I think this is good enough, but we need to try it with the real things," she answered.

The rest of them then went to the construction with dried cement and ordered the workers to use it.

As the workers used the dried cement, Lucien watched as it worked its magic, making the stones easier to stick together.

Soon, Gibson and the workers were applauding Lucien, showering him with praise.

"Don't thank me, it's my sister doing." said Lucien smiling at his sister.

All the workers then praising dan thanking Seren for all her hardworks too.

Lucien sighed in relief, feeling grateful as he looked at his sister with genuine delight. "Thank you, sis. Good job."

Seren felt a warm glow in her heart, appreciating her brother's praise, but her pride got in the way. "Hmph! It's not really that great! Even a monkey could do it."

Lucien just chuckled, understanding that his sister was feeling embarrassed.

After everything was done, Seren decided to head back to the cottage while Lucien was left alone with Brigantiea. The sunset provided a serene backdrop as the workers and even the golems made their way home.

"Brigantiea, I want to talk to you about something," Lucien said with a serious tone in his voice.
