After imprinting the spatial marker, Long Dangdang immediately led his companions to retreat and chose another direction to head off into the distance. Meanwhile, they resumed using Little Evil's spiritual detection to discern the concentration of wraith energy in the air.
The next day was spent in such reconnaissance. Through their spying, they hadn't engaged in any direct combat with wraith entities, but they had gathered quite a bit of intelligence.
Firstly, they discovered that within the Wraith Kingdom, the concentration of wraith energy varied. Areas closer to the wraith altar had denser wraith energy, whereas in places far from the wraith altar, or more specifically, at the edge where the control ranges of two wraith altars met, the concentration of wraith energy would weaken.
This allowed them to conclude that within the front lines of the wraith legion, there must be extremely powerful wraith altars present to support the energy needs of the wraith legion.
