"Wait, wait!" Long Kongkong grabbed Hep Benn's arm as she was about to walk away. "Are you saying the boy who just walked you home is your relative?"
Hep Benn replied indifferently, "My cousin walks me home every day. You just happened to see him for the first time. It's a bit of a distance from the school to my house, and my dad doesn't feel safe letting me walk alone."
In an instant, Long Kongkong felt as if an invisible force surged up from his spine, pierced through his brain, and revived him completely. He blinked his eyes, "Oh, so that's how it is!"
"Move aside, I need to go home. My dad is waiting for me for dinner." Hep Benn tried to pull her arm from his grasp.
"I apologize, goddess!" Long Kongkong said with a guilty smile, "What if I don't quit? Can I walk you home instead? Tell me where your school is. I will take you there in the mornings and pick you up in the evenings."
