Lanlan's heart gradually steadied in Sky Scar's warm embrace. There were no threatening forces looming, driving away her fear. As she raised her head, she saw the concern in Sky Scar's eyes. Blushing, she tried to pull away from him. "Don't move." Sky Scar said softly, "There's only dark aura here. Your cosmic energy is weaker, only mine can protect us from erosion by the dark aura. So, do not stray from my side." With that, he released her from his hold, and instead held her hand, continuously transmitting cosmic energy to her.
Lanlan dared not look at Sky Scar, but she clearly felt that now he was the only one she could depend on. Stabilizing her emotions, she asked, "Where are we?"
