Sky Scar stood in his place, quickly moved backwards, just barely dodging the young girl's attack, "Classmate, can we talk this out? As far as I know, there seems to be no grudge between us."
The girl glared at Sky Scar, "You dare to act but not admit it? If you hadn't knocked me down that day, how could I have missed the graduation ceremony?"
Sky Scar suddenly realized that this girl was the one he had bumped into that day. He apologized immediately, "I'm sorry, it was my fault that day. But you were also running so hurriedly. We both are responsible for the collision. I was in a hurry, so I didn't have time to apologize to you."
The girl snorted and said, "What good is an apology? You've made me repeat a year. Tell me, how will you compensate me?"
Sky Scar furrowed his brows and said, "Repeating a year doesn't seem to be my fault. As far as I know, only one person has successfully graduated from our grade."
The girl walked a few steps forward, looking up at Sky Scar, who was half a head taller than her, "There should have been me too, it's all your fault."
"So, what do you want to do?" Sky Scar asked indifferently, already growing impatient.
Hearing Sky Scar's question, the girl was taken aback. She hadn't really thought about what to do with Sky Scar, and was momentarily at a loss for words.
"Little Mei, what's going on?" A calm voice rang out and the surrounding students automatically made a path. A tall and proud man walked over. He was wearing a crisp teacher's uniform, was tall and looked much more robust than Sky Scar. There was a look of surprise on his handsome and resolute face. Sky Scar recognized him as Teacher Shane, the Teach Brittle Art teacher. He was quite famous among the teachers. He had "taught" some students with his fists more than once, even those from rich families were very wary of him. After all, no one wanted to provoke a live volcano.
Xue Mei pointed at Sky Scar and said, "Brother, it's him. He's the one who knocked me down that day, making me late. You help me teach him a lesson."
Shane's gaze shifted to Sky Scar, "So it's you. Sky Scar, you are the only graduate this year, why are you back here?" Although Sky Scar had never been his student, Shane was very close to Teacher Damon, so he had heard of Damon's proud disciple.
"Hello Teacher Shane. I came back to say goodbye to Teacher Damon. The incident that day was indeed my fault. Please forgive me and student Xue Mei."
"I will not forgive you." Xue Mei's anger did not subside.
Shane said sternly, "Enough, Xue Mei. You can't blame Sky Scar for not graduating. You wouldn't have been able to graduate even if you had arrived on time that day. You should reflect on your performance in other subjects."
Xue Mei cast a wronged look at her brother and angrily said to Sky Scar, "Alright, you wait and see." She stomped her foot heavily and turned to leave.
Shane's stern gaze turned to the students around him, "Everyone, disperse. All you good for nothing, can you do anything other than watch the fun?"
Feeling the heat of the about-to-erupt volcano, no one dared to stay, and they scattered and fled. Shane took a big step forward to Sky Scar, "Where have you been these days? Damon was quite worried about you."
Sky Scar gave a wry smile. His experiences in recent days were rather tortuous. How could he explain? Fortunately, Shane didn't insist on knowing, and gave him a pat on the shoulder, "Come with me, let's go see Damon together."
Sky Scar followed Shane into the school building as if familiar with the path. He came directly to the top floor, which is the office area of some school teachers. Shane opened the door of Damon's office and went in, "Shane, why are you here?" There was some desolation in Damon's voice.
"Look at you. Don't be so gloomy. Look, who is this." Shane stepped aside, and Sky Scar saw Damon sitting at the desk. Damon's face was rather gloomy, and he looked a lot more haggard than he had three months ago. When he saw Sky Scar, his eyes lit up, and he couldn't help but exclaim, "Sky Scar."
"Teacher Damon, I made you worry." Faced with this person who truly cared about him, Sky Scar quickly stepped forward, his voice full of emotion.
"Good, good. It's good that you came back safe. Where did you go these past days? I thought you were caught by the Thunderbolt Corporation." Damon eagerly stood up, his hands tightly gripping Sky Scar's shoulders. Sky Scar glanced at Shane, and Damon said, "It's okay, Shane is not an outsider."
Sky Scar nodded and held out his right hand, saying, "Perhaps this will make it clearer to you."
Under the shine of the light, the blue gemstone on his hand sparkled. Shane and Damon stunned for a second, then exclaimed in unison, "The Holy Alliance."
"Yes, the Holy Alliance. The other day, I didn't want to bring any more trouble to you, so I left the academy secretly. As soon as I did, I was confronted by the people from the Thunderbolt Corporation. It was the Holy Alliance who saved me". He gave a brief account of his past three months but chose not to mention anything about Miss Lan Lan. He merely stated that the Holy Alliance saw potential in his supernatural abilities, and then they took him in."
Damon laughed, as did Shane. Damon grabbed Sky Scar's right hand. A moment later, an electronic message popped onto Sky Scar's bio-computer, "Ability Level, twelve. Cosmic Energy, two segments, Level Three."
Sky Scar looked at Damon in surprise, "Teacher, you...you...".
Damon returned a faint smile, "Sky Scar. You don't call me 'teacher' anymore."
Shock seeped in Sky Scar's eyes, "Controller Sky Scar reporting to the officer. I belong to Space-based supernatural power, Level Three."
Damon exchanged a smile with Shane and said, "Sky Scar, it is strange, isn't it? Actually, I am not the only controller at the academy. The Academy of Zhongting holds an important place on Planet Zhongting, even in the Cosmic Alliance, hence, we have three controllers here. Shane's one, and the other is our serious Dean of Instruction. The Dean of Instruction manages everything here. He is a Level Twenty Controller, proficient in the Fire-based Special Ability. Shane is Level Thirteen, also proficient in the Fire-based Special Ability. Meanwhile, I specialize in Manipulating the Wind System. From your bio-computer waves, it appears that Controller of Planet Zhongting, Mrs. Phil has taken you under her wing as an Apprentice Controller. Honestly, when I found out about your Spatial Special Ability, I knew this day would come eventually. However, I didn't expect it to come this quickly. Reaching Level Three in three months, that's quite impressive."
Sky Scar looked at Damon, then Shane, and chuckled, "My two teachers have now become two officers. The Holy Alliance truly is everywhere!".
Damon smiled faintly, "Now I understand why we couldn't find you despite employing so much power. I should have thought of it earlier. Of all places on Planet Zhongting, the Phil Old Castle is the most covert."
Shane laughed and said, "The Thunderbolt Corporation is really ticked off this time because of you. They said you were taken away by our men from the Holy Alliance, but you just wouldn't believe it."
Sky Scar brought up his doubt, "Teachers, I have a question. Since you both are part of the Holy Alliance, and madame Oya is the controller of Planet Zhongting, why didn't you receive any news from her when you were looking for me?"
Damon clarified, "Quite simple, though Madame Oya of the Phil family and we belong to the Holy Alliance, there does not exist any relationship of subordination between us. As long as we don't meet, we don't have to be held accountable to her. She won't limit our actions either. We directly report to the Inspectorate of the Holy Alliance."
Sky Scar thought to himself, "There certainly are quite a few factions within the Holy Alliance. It doesn't seem like a unified entity from the looks of it. My knowledge about the Galaxy Union is quite limited. An organization as grand as the Holy Alliance, which includes almost all supernatural beings, excluding the Dark System, can even pose a threat to the governance of the Galactic Federation Council. How can it be completely unified?"
"Sky Scar, where do you plan to go after leaving here? The Space-related supernatural power is a very rare one. According to some records in the Holy Alliance, it is the strongest power, besides Light and Dark. It holds many secrets, which would take a long time to unravel."
Looking at Damon's concerned gaze, Sky Scar replied, "Teacher Damon, let me call you 'teacher'. I'm not yet used to calling you 'officer'. After I leave, firstly, I will go home. I have been away from there for over a year. Then, I might spend some time with my parents and work on developing my space-related supernatural power."
Damon sighed, "Madame Oya sure is impressive, she even managed to get you into the alliance before I did. Looks like we can't recruit you into our Supervisory Institute." The Phil Family was a clan Damon neither dared to nor wanted to offend."
Sky Scar silently thought, "Teacher Damon, you have no idea why Madame Oya took me in." Thinking of this, his face involuntarily turned red.
Shane suggested, "Actually, it might not necessarily be the case. We don't need to be hasty. Once Sky Scar ascends above Level Ten and officially becomes a member of the Holy Alliance, he will have the power to make his own choices. Currently, the most important thing for him is to boost his supernatural abilities. While the Space-related supernatural ability users are indeed rare, they do exist. I think..."
Damon abruptly brightened up, "Are you referring to that person?"
Shane nodded and said, "I believe that he would indeed best assist Sky Scar in upgrading his supernatural ability; however, his temper is a bit odd, and it isn't certain whether he would take Sky Scar under his wing."
Damon chuckled, "How can we make a judgment without trying?"
Sky Scar was left in confusion, "Teachers, what are you talking about?"
