Just as Ah Dai was about to say something, two people approached from the direction of the front courtyard, one of whom was Chairman Kary of the Mage Guild, and the other was a middle-aged man whom he and Yan Li had not seen before. The middle-aged man was clad in a plain white robe. Despite his simple attire, he exuded an awe-inspiring authority, and Ah Dai could sense a murderous aura emanating from him.
Kary also saw Ah Dai and smiled, "Ah Dai, how are your injuries? What a coincidence, I was just looking for you."
Ah Dai hurriedly said, "Thank you for your concern, Chairman Kary. My injuries have mostly healed. Did you need me for something?"
