As Ah Dai was about to respond, two individuals approached from the direction of the front yard. One of them was Chairman Kary of the Mage Guild, and the other was a middle-aged man neither he nor Yan Li had previously met. The man was clad in a white robe, although plainly dressed, an imposing and austere aura emanated from him. From him, Ah Dai could sense an air of ruthlessness.
Seeing Ah Dai, Kary greeted cheerfully, "Ah Dai, how are your injuries? What a coincidence, I was just looking for you."
Ah Dai quickly responded, "Thank you for your concern, Chairman Kary. My injuries have mostly healed. Do you need me for something?"
