Ji Dong still couldn't fulfill his wish. After dinner, before Carl and Bi Su's rest, he quietly returned to Core Lake on the pretext of detoxification, but he still didn't see Flame. He had to mix a cocktail and quickly return. His evening's good mood was entirely dissipated.
Carl and Bi Su had gone to sleep in the tent, but Ji Dong couldn't sleep at all. Looking at the blazing bonfire in front of him, he kept seeing Flame's shadow. Perhaps it was the bonfire that made the night go peacefully. Bi Su and Carl took turns on night watch, and until daylight, they did not encounter any wild animals, let alone a magical beast.
After a simple meal, the trio practiced their magic power for an hour, adjusting their state to the optimum before setting off again.
