The Southern Wilderness Woods, spanning thousands of miles, were vast and boundless.
After passing through numerous mountains and valleys, and traversing the endless sea of green, Xiao Chen and his companions finally caught sight of the Heavenly Emperor City.
The majestic Heavenly Emperor City was full of the ravages of time. The city wall was tall and hefty, easily twenty to thirty meters high. Atop the wall, one could align a dozen steeds side by side. The towering city gate was even more grand and imposing. It looked as though a heavenly palace had dropped from the sky—ancient and magnificent. It was truly a city renowned across the world.
The moat protecting the city was tens of meters wide and over a dozen meters deep. Despite the numerous lotuses and swarming fish, one could see fierce crocodiles lurking within.
Without a doubt, the Heavenly Emperor City was a grand and spectacular ancient city, the most famous metropolis in the Southern Wilderness.
