Chapter 11 - Chapter 2

Liliana stood in awe as she entered Isabella's place, greeted by a breathtaking view of the ocean right at their doorstep. The beauty of the surroundings captivated her, reminding her of the tranquility she sought away from the complexities of her own life.

Isabella suddenly realized that she had left her camera behind at the beach and excused herself, assuring Liliana that she would only be gone for a few minutes. She urged Liliana to make herself at home and casually mentioned that her brother was present, cautioning her not to be startled by his presence.

As Isabella stepped out the door, a voice called out from a distance, "Is that you, Bell?" Liliana's eyes widened in surprise as she watched Emanuel emerge from the hallway. It dawned on her that he was Isabella's brother. Liliana couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and intrigue as Emanuel approached her, the moonlight casting a seductive glow upon him. His bare-chested figure revealed a sculpted physique that enticed her gaze, and she found herself studying his magnetic presence.

Breaking the silence, Emanuel leaned in closer, his eyes filled with a mischievous allure. "You can touch if you want," he whispered, his voice dripping with seduction. Liliana's heart raced as she looked up at him, a mix of desire and uncertainty swirling within her. Just as the tension between them reached its peak, Liliana's phone rang, interrupting the moment. It was Vance, but still harboring anger towards him, she ignored the call and decided to turn off her phone altogether.

Curiosity got the better of Emanuel as he asked if Vance knew she was here. Liliana, with a hint of deception, replied, "Yes, he does." However, Emanuel saw through her facade, his perceptive gaze piercing deep into her soul, unraveling the truth she tried to hide.

Isabella returned with her camera and immediately noticed Emanuel's shirtless state. Annoyed by his playful remark, she scolded him to put on a shirt, reminding him that they had a guest. Emanuel, unfazed, responded with a mischievous smile directed at Liliana, saying, "It's okay, Liliana enjoys what she sees." Liliana blushed, caught off guard by his comment and wink. Isabella, not amused, reprimanded Emanuel for his behavior and led Liliana to her room, where they could continue their conversation in private.

As they settled in, Liliana couldn't help but inquire about Emanuel's relationship status, asking if he had a girlfriend or wife. With a sly grin, Isabella revealed, "No, he's pretty much single." Liliana was taken aback by Isabella's response, surprised that someone as handsome as Emanuel was unattached.

As the night grew late, Isabella eventually fell asleep, leaving Liliana alone in her thoughts, gazing out at the moonlit ocean. To her surprise, she noticed Emanuel sitting on the sand below. Intrigued by his presence, she grabbed a rope and made her way down to join him, enjoying the attention he bestowed upon her.

With a penetrating gaze, Emanuel broke the silence, asking, "Can I kiss you?" Liliana's heart fluttered, torn between her desire to say yes and her lingering thoughts of Vance's betrayal. She mustered the strength to stand up and replied, "It's getting late, I must go to sleep." Emanuel, unwilling to let her go so easily, pulled her close and whispered, "Goodnight, beautiful," their eyes locked in a captivating moment.

Filled with a mix of excitement and guilt, Liliana dashed back to Isabella's room, a smile gracing her lips. However, her happiness was short-lived when a calm yet jealous voice interrupted her thoughts. It was Vance, who declared, "How many times do I have to tell you that you are mine, Liliana?" Startled, Liliana questioned his presence, to which Vance coldly responded, "I came to get what's mine."

Isabella woke up in a panic, screaming for her brother. Vance, maintaining his composure, waited for Emanuel's arrival. When Emanuel finally appeared, armed with a gun, he questioned Vance's presence. Vance retorted, his eyes filled with tension and hatred, "I came to get what's mine." The air grew heavy with animosity as Emanuel stepped closer to Vance, asserting that Liliana was spending time with his sister and that Vance should leave.

Emanuel then turned to Liliana, locking eyes with her, and asked, "Do you want to go with him, Liliana?" Confused and worried about the potential consequences, Liliana hesitated before finally saying, "I'll go with you, Vance. I'll see you later, Isabella." The tension between Emanuel and Vance intensified as their gaze met, hinting at a brewing confrontation that could have severe consequences.
