However, one fact remained: it was a soul that initially belonged to a Celestial. Such properties never go away.
Steve didn't think much of this as he stuffed the soul back into the body. All he needed to do was ensure that the body created matched that of a human, as there existed some sort of filter on Earth.
It prevented the entry of higher-level beings, and even he himself was 'blessed' with several restrictions because he refused to leave the planet. After a while, the lifeless body began to move, slowly standing up.
Its eyes were no longer as soulless as they once were. Its extremely pale skin gained a darker hue as it gradually began to resemble a regular human—well, a very tall human.
Even in its miniaturized state, the body still stood at around 3 meters tall. The nature of the king of giants doesn't change.
Mana raged around him, almost as though the body was the eye of a storm. If Steve weren't who he was, he would have died—no human could bear the level of mana pressure the new body was giving off.
"Let's go," Steve commanded as he turned to leave.
"Yes, my lord," the new monarch replied with a slight bow.
Immediately after, Steve saw the massive mana storm that had threatened to destroy the entire house quickly disappear. It was almost as though it had never existed in the first place. The new monarch now looked no different from a regular human.
"Losing this place might be a waste," Steve noted as he looked at the incredibly spacious castle.
However, there was nothing he could do to preserve it. This was just a preserved space—a cutout from a true dimension. A pocket space that would break because he had freed Legia. Still, Steve thought of it as a loss.
Since he couldn't do anything about it, he had no choice but to leave. Without further hesitation, he did so.
Appearing outside the gate, Steve could see the hunters still battling the giants that had emerged. The corpses of giants littered the ground, and in between them were the bodies of some hunters.
Just because Judy was there didn't mean there wouldn't be casualties. If she had wanted to prevent that, she would have fought in their place. However, she didn't—or more accurately, she didn't care to such an extent. All she did was cast support magic.
"Take care of the rest," Steve ordered, and Legia nodded. Instantly vanishing from his initial position, all Steve saw afterward were giants collapsing to the ground, their heads missing.
It was an expected sight. Legia was a monarch; if he couldn't do this much with just his physical abilities, Steve would want a refund.
The hunters who saw the scene were dumbfounded before eventually erupting into screams of joy as they celebrated their victory.
With the Gate closing slowly behind him, Steve began walking toward Judy. His work here was done. He just needed to collect his reward and then find his way back to Korea to continue his life.
