"I see" Jin Chul replied while nodding his head.
…..
Seocho District,
Seoul,
A car could be seen speeding through the road before suddenly branching into a smaller and much quieter road. Going past the many other houses, the car finally beached into a much larger house that slightly stood out amongst the few in the area.
As soon as the car came to a stop, a young man stepped out, it was a foreigner but he walked as though he was familiar with the place.
"Come to think of it, they have still yet to deliver the true gold" the man said as he entered the house.
It was Steve, who now lived lived life amongst the super rich in Seoul. A month had passed since then and a lot had changed about him.
First was his housing situation, he had wasted no time at all in buying a house in one of the expensive areas in Seoul, the Seocho district or as the locals called it the Gangam district.
Turns out the Gangam style also made waves in this world as well. He had learnt a lot about this world in this time though.
First, there were very few S-ranked weapons in the world that was known which sort of proved what the Chairman had said.
Second, turns out that these Gates had being a thing in this world for as long as many of them could remember.
Finally, Korea was a good place to live in if you had money. The house here was bought for roughly around $10,000, the car was more expensive naturally but housing was cheaper.
As soon as Steve got into the house, he immediately changed and rushed into his basement.
It was a very large space that was filled with all sorts of materials, from several large thread filled wooden spools to various metals and such.
Even if he had been enjoying all that Seoul had to offer, he didn't forget his ability.
"Day 23, trial 24" He said as he wrote down something on the small whiteboard on the wall.
Folding the sleeves of his clothes, he immediately went to take a seat close to a large working table.
On the table were various tools that he had come to realize we're actually useless.
His ability didn't require him using any other tool apart from his will and his mana.
If he couldn't manipulate it then he had yet to imbue enough mana into it.
Picking out the various ends of the black thread and some leather from the pile he had lying around, Steve began work.
Imbuing his mana into the threads, it immediately began moving on their own as the weaving began.
He didn't plan to start any sort of business before this was complete. It was the guarantee that he had against hunters and monsters alike.
Without it, he would have to continue relying on the money given to him by The Association for selling the rest of the C-ranked weapons he had created in the hospital.
