Jing Che made no hesitation, pulling open the door of the café and stepping in.
The café was in a European style with torrential rains outside and melodious music playing inside, which was fully packed.
Because of the rain, people had nowhere to go. They are sheltering in nearby shops.
Jing Che took off his rain boots at the entrance; put them aside, put on his shining leather shoes; and straightened his suit to look sharper.
Once his panting breath became steady, he walked purposefully toward an open seat near the window.
He pulled out a chair and sat down heavily.
Giving a proud grin to the man across from him, he said.
"I have delivered Yiren safely!"
The handsome man sitting opposite him, looking lazy as if a celestial being cast down from the heavens, simply curled the corner of his lips in response.
With a nonchalant look, he glanced at the coffee bar counter and lazily raised his arm.
"Waiter! Check, please!"
