I really envy the playful, inseparable bond between Mù Qiānxún and Ou Zun.
Mù Qiānxún hooks her arm around my shoulder, her eyes challenging.
"Once friendship gets serious, it is even more deeply engraved in the heart than love."
"Pfft!"
This phrase had been popular online. However, it loses its persuasiveness when Mù Qiānxún repeats it.
"So tell me, who is more important to you now, me or Ou Zun?"
Mù Qiānxún nods at me, "Good thing you didn't ask me who I'd save first if you and Ou Zun fell into the water."
"Get out of here!" I, Lin You, retorts sarcastically, "We both learned swimming when we were 20 at a swimming pool. You know I can swim. You definitely won't save me."
Mù Qiānxún bursts into laughter, "Of course. I have only saved one person in the water in my whole life."
That person was Ou Zun.
I really despise Mù Qiānxún.
But she deftly switches the subject.
The two of us sit together for dinner at night.
