Mu Xin was waiting for Xin Liao in the coffee shop they had agreed on.
She arrived a little early and had been waiting for approximately twenty minutes before Xin Liao rushed in, covered in dust.
Mu Xin was engrossed in a Mary Sue TV drama on her phone, innocently sitting there, radiating an aura of pure innocence and tranquillity. A shy, rosy smile would emerge on her face from time to time, drawing curious glances from other patrons at the coffee shop.
Xin Liao looked around when he entered, he hadn't seen Mu Xin in more than a decade and could only search for her based on his memory, but he could not find her.
So, frowning, he dialed her number.
The call was answered almost immediately, and Xin Liao asked, "Why haven't you arrived yet?"
Having been married to Mu Xin for a year, Xin Liao no longer loved her. He always spoke to her in a commanding and venting tone, the same as before.
So, his tone was not good from the start.
