Xu Mushen stood in the dimly worn residential building, frowning at the cellphone charm in Ning Xie's hand.
Ning Xie explained, "Found under the couch in a very hidden place, this charm, doesn't belong to Liang Mengxian, it doesn't match her phone. This implies that a fourth person had visited this room!"
Xu Mushen stood there, looking around, "No cameras around?"
Ning Xie sighed, "The building is too old, it's about to be designated for demolition soon, no cameras were installed. The roads around, they're too wide, it's impossible to capture anything on film."
Xu Mushen didn't dwell on the issue of cameras.
As a police officer, Ning Xie has his professional knowledge from many years of detective work. Since he said it couldn't be filmed, then it couldn't be. He wouldn't question it.
"What about fingerprints?" Xu Mushen asked again.
