Yang Leman casually asked, "Where is Brother Shen?"
As per usual, Uncle Rong responded, "I'm afraid it's not appropriate for me to divulge the master's whereabouts."
Yang Leman wasn't really interested in that. She nodded and focused all her attention on the two people across the room.
She saw Li Manni pat Xu Qiaoqiao's shoulder. Xu Qiaoqiao turned her head to see Li Manni's face turn pale as if she was holding back her anger. She seemed to have said something to Xu Qiaoqiao, whose eyes widened in surprise. As she attempted to explain, Li Manni suddenly pushed her away.
Yang Leman's heart felt like it had sprouted wings and taken flight.
Finally, she got to see Xu Qiaoqiao make a fool of herself!
She immediately bypassed the butler and took a step forward, shouting loudly, "Manni, calm down!"
Her deliberately amplified voice immediately drew the attention of the entire banquet.
All eyes were now on them.
