Without a thought, Xia Wan'an stopped her text message and spoke to the taxi driver: "Stop the car."
She apologized to the driver as she paid him after the taxi came to a standstill, "I'm really sorry, driver."
Once out of the vehicle, Xia Wan'an made her way to the person leaning against the tree by the road.
The man seemed to have relieved himself enough and was unsteadily straightening up, ready to go back to the bar. However, only after a couple of steps, he lost his balance and started to fall.
Luckily, Xia Wan'an was quick to react. She rushed to his side and caught him. "Han Zhijin, have you lost your mind? Drinking this much!"
Half a moment late, Han Zhijin turned to face Xia Wan'an, "Who are you?"
Hearing this, Xia Wan'an wanted to give her naïve homeboy a public beating: "Who am I, you ask?"
"I don't give a damn who you are..." Han Zhijin responded in a jumbled drunken slur.
Fed up, Xia Wan'an smacked Han Zhijin on the forehead.
