With a "swoosh" sound indicating that her text message was sent, Xia Wan'an finally put away her phone. She lifted her head and swept her gaze towards the direction where Chi Mu was standing.
Upon meeting Xia Wan'an's gaze, Chi Mu showed a small smirk, her eyes filled with sarcasm. Then, as though she hadn't noticed Xia Wan'an, she turned her head and began chatting with her well-dressed companions. She carried herself with an arrogant grace, every now and then lifting her glass for a sip of wine.
Looking at Chi Mu behaving this way, Xia Wan'an slightly lowered her eyelids, concealing the cold glint in her eyes.
Yet her face still maintained a sweet and untroubled smile, as if she hadn't taken Chi Mu's petty ploys to heart.
Because it took too long to go upstairs, Xia Wan'an was worried that if the person bringing her clothes arrived, multiple phone calls and identity verification by the staff would delay things, so she decided to wait in the lobby.
