The eight words He Che had initially planned to say, "Nice to meet you, I'm looking forward to working with you," were suddenly caught in his throat.
He stared blankly at the small dollop of hand cream on the back of his hand for a moment, then smiled with the corners of his lips, as though he was actually reaching for the hand cream and said, "Thank you."
Immediately, he lowered his head and rubbed the hand cream into the back of his hand.
