Tian Tian's Aunt sighed softly.
"What on earth happened?" Mother Lu's eyebrows furrowed as she examined the wound. Tian Tian's foot injury was far too deep.
"I was walking around the house barefoot and accidentally shattered a glass. That's how it happened."
Tian Tian concocted an excuse on the spot, not daring to mention anything about Zi Chen.
"How could a girl be so careless?" Mother Lu said with concern.
"Mom, it's much better already. It's not a big deal."
Tian Tian withdrew her foot, smiled at her mother, and seeing that her mother wanted to say something more, but quickly changed the subject: "Mom, Auntie, why did you suddenly decide to come to River City? You didn't even tell me in advance."
