Lan Xin Ai left the clothing store and headed to the Little White Rabbit Gym. She had taken out a membership a few days ago but hadn't had a chance to come in for a workout yet.
The gym wasn't crowded at the moment, with only a yoga instructor leading a class.
As Lan Xin Ai hadn't brought workout clothes, she decided to use a treadmill for her exercise.
Not long after she started running, a tall man approached her.
"Are you alone, pretty lady?"
Lan Xin Ai glanced at him but didn't reply. Seeing that she wouldn't engage, the man shrugged and left without another word.
This minor incident didn't cause any disruption.
Ding dong~
Her phone rang.
"Hello, yes, this is Lan Xin Ai."
"Hello, I am Director Shen of Angel Orphanage. I finally managed to reach you. I greatly appreciate your donation to our orphanage." The voice on the other end sounded somewhat excited, likely in his fifties or sixties.
"Donation?"
Lan Xin Ai seemed confused.
