"Both babies are not even a year old, let alone able to communicate. Mrs. Fang, you sure know how to joke."
Lan Xin Ai chuckled, clearly disagreeing with Mrs. Fang's words.

Mrs. Fang, lost for words, glanced at her daughter. Seeing her waving her tiny hands, trying to pull on Little Yan's hair, she laughed, "Mrs. Xi, see? My daughter seems to really like Master Little Yan, always wanting to be around him."
Lan Xin Ai slightly furrowed her brows. Mrs. Fang kept mentioning Little Yan ever since she arrived. What was she up to?
"Look, Little Master Yan seems to like her too. They make a great pair."
Lan Xin Ai and Lan Ruowei exchanged a glance, both voicing their disagreement on her comment.
"Quick, get Duo Duo over there. Let the two kids play together." Mrs. Fang called upon a maid to bring Duo Duo over to Little Yan's pram.
"No can do." Lan Xin Ai immediately refused.
"What's wrong, Mrs. Xi?"
