"Meeting." Xi Yemo skimmed past Gong Yao, standing half a head taller than him.
As they passed each other, their eyes locked for a moment.
In their gaze, a spark flared.
Lan Xin Ai walked out of the meeting room, bumping into Ling Jue Feng who was returning. She didn't even give him a glance and turned back into the CEO's office.
As soon as she got back to the office, Lu Tian Tian's call came in.
"Lan Baobei, have you been thinking about me?"
"No."
"Humph, like I figured, you've forgotten about your bestie now that you're married." Lu Tian Tian sounded somewhat annoyed.
Lan Xin Ai chuckled: "I missed you."
"That's more like it, how's life in Country Z? Has Young Master Xi taken you out on a trip yet?"
"He's been busy."
Lan Xin Ai felt a flutter of disappointment, but it lasted only for an instant.
"What do you do all day then?" Lu Tian Tian rolled her eyes, feeling envious. Having a romantic partner sure seemed nice… spending all day lovey-dovey.
