Out of options, Lu Tian Tian could only dial the number listed on the document.
Nearly moments later, the call went through.
"Hello, this is Lu Tian Tian."
"Who am I speaking with?" Came the perplexed voice of a man on the other end.
"You saved me last night; I'm standing outside your company right now."
Bai Ting was taken aback but then he said, "Please wait a moment, I'm coming."
The receptionist gave Lu Tian Tian a puzzled look, unsure if she was telling the truth or not. However, within a minute, Bai Ting appeared at the front desk.
"President Bai."
"Where's the lady?"
"I'm here." Lu Tian Tian immediately recognized Bai Ting and hurriedly stood up from the sofa.
"You left silently last night, which made me very worried."
Lu Tian Tian's statement earned her some peculiar looks from the receptionist, who found the conversation rather suggestive.
