The waiter had lost his patience, his tone taking on a slight edge.
"What kind of attitude is that? Is that how you talk to a customer? Call your manager to see me."
Jiang Shu Yuan slapped the table loudly, drawing the attention of those around him.
Lan Xin Ai was taken aback. She didn't expect this man to not only be incredibly difficult but also such a weirdo. She quickly interjected, "Since neither of us are particularly hungry, let's just have a platter of French chocolate bread. This one's on me."
The waiter glanced at them both and muttered something under his breath as he left. Although Lan Xin Ai didn't hear what was said, she was certain it wasn't anything nice.
"The service here is truly dreadful. I won't be coming back."
