"I'm fine, let go of me." Xia Moer shook him off, but her head felt dizzy and she staggered, falling back into the man's embrace.
"I'll help you over there to rest for a bit."
He helped her to a couch in the corner and brought her a cup of plain water. Xia Moer felt much better and examined him.
He was handsome, his deep dark eyes captivating her.
"What's your name?"
"Pei Nuo."
"You're really handsome." Xia Moer was drunk and her speech was slightly slurred.
"You're beautiful, the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."
Pei Nuo gazed intently at her.
"You think I'm beautiful? How beautiful?"
Xia Moer laughed at herself and her expression was filled with sorrow.
"Very beautiful, so beautiful it's intoxicating." Pei Nuo moved closer to her, his dark eyes shining brightly.
"What's the use of being beautiful, he doesn't like me." Xia Moer's lips curled into a sneer of anger as she spoke.
