By the time Yuanya arrived at school, she was already late.
On top of that, she had eaten breakfast in too much of a hurry, and had also rushed over too quickly. Now, her stomach didn't feel particularly great.
She made her way to the classroom. Upon seeing her, an astonished Professor Xu, who was in the midst of lecturing, asked, "You sent word that you'd be out sick, why are you here?"
Yuanya was certain this must have been Lan Xiu's idea and she managed to squeeze out a smile.
"I rested a bit, and I felt much better, so I came."
Xu Zhenguo knew she'd been battling a fever since the day before yesterday, and her complexion didn't look good. He couldn't help but be concerned.
He waved her over, "Get in here quickly, and if you can't hold up, remember to let me know and take a rest!"
Yuanya quietly assented, taking her usual seat and pulling out her textbooks, but her entire demeanor seemed somewhat distracted.
"Alright, let's continue!"
