"Don't go!" Nan Fei shouted, successfully stopping Lu Jin in his tracks.
"But..."
"I said, don't go," Nan Fei purposely said. "I told him a long time ago; he knows I'm coming back."
"Really?" Why did his mother seem upset? It looked like her eyes were red - had she been crying?
"Yes!" Nan Fei answered resolutely.
Lu Jin noticed her determination. He feared that if he disagreed with her decision to return, she might encounter danger. In the end, he had no choice but to drive Nan Fei home.

After dinner, Huo Beijiang took Xi Liqun and others for a round on the training ground. He wanted to send them away but Xi Liqun stubbornly stayed, showing no intention of leaving.
"Bei Jiang!" Xi Liqun pointed to the men training. "I feel as though some people are missing?"
Huo Beijiang pretended not to understand. "How so?"
