Province Rescue Association Compound——
A black sedan car slowly drives through the main gate, stopping only in front of a small red building. The car door opens and Shi Ying, dressed in a black suit, slowly disembarks. The security guard at the entrance approaches her respectfully to greet her.
"Miss Shi Ying, welcome back! The elder will be very happy to see you," he said.
"Yes," Shi Ying nodded, her expression not one of joy. Perhaps due to growing up with the constant praise from the elder, her privileged upbringing and stellar personal qualities, her temperament is not all that pleasant. Everyone in the compound is well aware of this fact.
Especially recently, each time Shi Ying returns home, it inevitably ends in a big argument with her father.
Walking into the living room, she sees her father, the elder, sitting on the couch engrossed in the newspaper, not even glancing up at the sound of her footsteps.
