In the VIP suite of the Jacob Hotel, Richard walked out with a warm smile on his face, glancing at the man beside him.
Richard knew full well that after Lina's latest stunt, Diers was cutting back on his collaboration with the DAR Group. Diers knew he had a hand in what Lina was doing behind the scenes and would not let the DAR Group off easily.
So, while Diers hadn't cut ties completely, Richard wanted to transform several projects in cooperation with RC to partnerships with other companies, lessening RC's influence.
As he departed, he happened to spot Diers.
Richard thought he was seeing things.
Diers would never set foot in a hotel.
Even when conducting business, Diers always dealt with it at his office in the RC Group.
As for social engagements, he never attended any. This was well-known in the business circles.
"What are you looking at?" asked his companion, following Richard's gaze with curiosity.
