It was supposed to be a wonderful evening. Lina could finally claim a man she had fancied for over twenty years. After marrying him, they would have children, and happily spend the rest of their lives together.
But things in this world can change too easily.
A single oversight could bring about irrevocable changes.
Standing by the window, Lina held a glass of red wine and looked out at the night view of T City. She cast a deep glance at the food on the table.
"Miss!" Lina's Italian servant, Harman, who she had brought with her, opened the door. Seeing that Lina had no reaction, he gently called out to her.
Lina came to her senses and saw Harman, wet with sweat. "What's the matter?"
Harman shook his head, "..."
Lina's brows furrowed slightly, "What does that mean?"
"I had people look for him, but we still couldn't find any trace of Mr. Diers."
Lina was angry, "Did you search carefully??"
Harman, fearful, nodded, "..."
