It was almost 12 noon.
Ming Mei got out of the car and stood in front of the Kang family mansion again, she suddenly laughed.
Ming Mei said to Kang Chen: "When I left last time, I told myself I would never set foot here again. Who would have thought that things change so unexpectedly."
Ming Mei glanced at Kang Chen who was standing beside her: "Who would have thought that we, having divorced, would have to pretend to be a couple again. That's quite a fresh story, isn't it?"
Kang Chen said, "Let's go in."
He was about to step in.
Ming Mei stopped him: "Wait a moment..."
Kang Chen looked at her. Every time Ming Mei spoke, he felt somewhat anxious inside, because he could never predict what shocking things she would say next.
Ming Mei flashed a smile at Kang Chen, the golden sunlight falling on her, casting a halo around her.
Her radiant smile, just like her name, shot straight into his heart, and it felt as if one smile from her could dispel the entire gloominess in his heart.
