Outside, it was a pitch-black night. Looking down from the balcony, street lamps twinkled like stars. It felt as though they were standing in the clouds, gazing down at the starry sky from a height of tens of thousands of feet.
The balcony named like a wind vortex. Once you stepped onto it, you could feel the autumn breeze carrying a chill, surging towards you, gusting ceaselessly.
Both men stood side by side, facing the wind. Their hair was tousled by the wind, their faces expressionless, as hard as stones.
The wind seemed to carry a faint floral fragrance, and their figures stood upright as if they would never fall.
Neither of them spoke, as if everything was lost in the howling wind, no more words needed.
Those two men, just like that, stood silently in the wind for fifteen minutes.
In that moment, it felt as if the world itself had frozen.
