After hearing a couple, Ming Mei complained, "What you're reading isn't a joke at all, it's more like a horror story!"
Kang Chen found it truly difficult, reading jokes was even harder than hitting a bull's eye with his eyes closed.
Kang Chen put aside the joke book, "Or, I could teach him military boxing."
Ming Mei shook her head: "That won't do. If it's a son, it's fine, but if it's a daughter, what if she becomes violent like you?"
Kang Chen reached out and touched Ming Mei's head: "I hope our daughter will be just like you."
Ming Mei cocked her head and looked at Kang Chen, she wanted to ask him how he planned to deal with her and their child's status in the future, but... She was worried that asking would create awkwardness between them.
Thought better of it.
She asked Kang Chen, "Do you want a boy, or a girl?"
Kang Chen considered this very seriously: "What if I like both? We could have a few more children."
