In truth, Gu Yuying's inner turmoil was far from the outward calm he displayed. He knew why he had to withdraw from Luo Qingli's room.
He was afraid that if he stayed any longer, he wouldn't be able to resist her.
Gu Yuying prepared himself a cup of coffee, making an effort to calm down.
After taking a long breath, he finally managed to regain a lot of his composure. Peering at Luo Qingli's bedroom door from afar, Gu Yuying suddenly wondered if she was sleeping yet, or once again playing games.
Or maybe… was she thinking about him…
Shaking his head, he dropped these unrealistic thoughts. Gu Yuying convinced himself he must be too tired, as there was otherwise no explanation for such abnormal behavior.
The next day was a regular school day, and Luo Qingli didn't talk much to Gu Yuying.
Partly out of embarrassment, and partly because she didn't really have anything she wanted to say to Gu Yuying.
