Both of them descended the stairs, passing a pavilion where the surrounding foliage was so dense it created an obscured corner. Mu Tiancheng scanned the area keenly and suddenly cried out, "Don't move!"
Mu Tianying stopped abruptly, noticing him staring at the ground, and cautiously stepped back.
Mu Tiancheng squatted down, and Mu Tianying followed suit, noticing traces of what looked like blood on the ground.
Mu Tiancheng touched it with his fingers, brought it to his nose, and said, "Two to three hours old, hopefully just a coincidence."
"Don't scare me..." Mu Tianying stood up, his legs trembling slightly.
The pair quickly moved on, while Mu Tiancheng continued to survey the surroundings. As they neared the exit of the housing estate, he suddenly made a turn.
Mu Tianying asked, "Where are you going?"
Mu Tiancheng replied, "There are drag marks on the ground. Don't walk down the center."
