"What is it?" He asked softly.
Wanqing climbed onto him, draped around his neck, staring blankly at him: "Where's Grandpa? Where's Caiyan?"
"They've gone home."
"Oh..." Wanqing laid back down.
Not understanding why, he turned off the light and laid down too. After a while, he suddenly heard her crying. Shocked, he quickly got up, turned on the light: "Wanqing?!"
"Tianying..." Wanqing clung to him, her eyes fragile and helpless, "Does my mom know? Is she abandoning me... She hasn't called me... Did I upset her? Did something happen to her?"
"No, no!" Mu Tianying hastily reassured, "She doesn't know. Didn't you call her yesterday? You even wished her a Happy New Year. It's okay not to call today."
"She doesn't know?" Wanqing asked.
"Yes, she doesn't know."
Wanqing breathed a sigh of relief, suddenly laughed, and hastily began to remove her nightgown.
"What are you doing?!" Mu Tianying asked in surprise.
