The all-English Bible on the shelf behind the sofa was being wantonly flipped by the strong wind, swish, swish, swish, its pages turning rapidly and even tearing in the wind.
It wasn't until Deng Jiaru and Qiaoqiao managed to close all the doors and windows together that the disturbance inside the room finally stopped.
Then, the internal telephone rang. It was Yun Mo who called. Deng Jiaru, who was nearest to the telephone, picked it up.
