Ye Jiajia tossed the towel she used to dry her hair aside and snuggled deep into her chaise lounge with her cell phone.
Sighing as she gazed out the floor-to-ceiling window at the streams of vehicles flowing between the high-rises, she smiled.
"Xiao'an, you're such an impatient one," she frowned, growing worried. "Your hot temper could affect the baby in your belly, you know."
"I just can't stand that woman bullying you."
"Alright, calm down. If you get the babies in your belly all riled up, you'll start feeling unwell."
"I'm going to call Gu Xu later. He probably doesn't know about this yet. I must make him teach Chen Jingzi a lesson."
"No!"
"Why not? Gu Xu has to know about this."
"Xiao'an, I beg you, don't tell Gu Xu. I don't want to make a big deal out of this."
"Jiajia, you're just too kind. Always so kind-hearted."
"Xiao'an, it's not that I'm kind, I just don't want Gu Xu to know."
If Gu Xu found out, she was sure he would go apologize in person.
