"We can go now!" his voice echoed in the silence, Gu Xu's fist clenched tight, "Let's go."
Chen Jingzi looked at the back of his hand where fresh blood slowly fell, one drop, then two.
Minutes felt like hours before Chen Jingzi finally looked up, meeting Gu Xu's despair-filled gaze.

"We're divorcing, why do you care?" Gu Xu said, slipping into his coat effortlessly, no longer looking at her, "Let's go."
His tall, handsome, yet sickly figure moved past Chen Jingzi towards the door.
The hand still seeping blood reached for the doorknob and opened the hospital room door.
He walked out of the room before Chen Jingzi.
When Chen Jingzi followed him out, he was in the hospital hallway, walking and dialing a number on his phone.
