Without anything else to do, Chen Xiaobao joined in the fun. Other than bickering with Jiang Xiaoyue, he was teasing Xibao. Having three children around made the journey lively, attracting lots of attention.
"Chen Xiaobao is the commander Chen's grandson," Jiang Xiaoyue finally remembered to introduce Feng Qingxue.
Feng Qingxue was taken aback. No wonder he was so close to Jiang Xiaoyue, they both came from wealthy families.
Neither of them was short of money. They each had tickets in their hands and bought many things at the department store, with bags large and small all piled onto Chen Xiaobao. After shopping, the four of them went to Quanjude, but there were no seats available and many people were queuing. Xibao could not bear his hunger any longer, so they gave up on the roast duck and went to Donglaishun instead.
The hot pot mutton cooked on charcoal was two dollars a plate, while the barbecued lamb skewers were twenty cents a skewer.
