Throughout the entire parent-teacher meeting, Tianxin spent a lot of time covering for Jin Yutao.
As for his grades, they seemed to have plummeted to a point beyond redemption.
He basically guessed all of his answers on every test without trying to do well at all.
He seemed to have completely given up.
Tianxin looked complexly at the stack of test papers in front of her, suddenly realizing that her first tutoring job seemed to have landed her in a lot of trouble.
After the parent-teacher conference finally ended, Tianxin, under various inquiring gazes, dragged Jin Yutao away and quickly disappeared into the campus.
"Why are you doing this? Do you not want to go to school anymore?" Tianxin asked dejectedly while standing by their school's playground and looking at Jin Yutao.
"What's the point? Whether the grades are good or bad, they're just what they are. My parents don't care either way." Jin Yutao was quiet for a long time before finally responding to Tianxin in a low voice.
