"Oh." Tianxin quickly finished a series of face-washing and tooth-brushing routines, and then wiped her cheeks dry. She said to her mom, "I can take leave for the night study, besides, it's not like we have actual classes during that time. They just tie us up there to do homework, right? I promise I'll finish all my homework first, then go be a bridesmaid for my cousin, okay?"
After thinking for a bit, Tianxin's mom nodded and said, "That could work, but we need to get there by Saturday. Your cousin is getting married in N City. The groom's family will leave early Sunday morning. Being a bridesmaid is not a piece of cake; you'll be busy the whole day."
"No worries, I'm not afraid of hard work!" Tianxin excitedly told her mom and gave her a big hug, "Mom, I love you to death!"
"Alright, go have your breakfast. Don't be late," Tianxin's mom said, lightly wiping her cheek and chuckling.
"Alright." Tianxin happily ran towards the dining table.
