"Cut the chatter." Chen Yiran glared at Tianxin, then whispered to her, "I'll go first. Once you see me sitting down, count quietly to fifteen, then come. OK?"
"OK!" Tianxin nodded, giving him a thumbs up.
Tianxin watched as Chen Yiran drew a deep breath and walked with a 'take it on the chin' expression towards a silhouette. She couldn't help but find it amusing. It was just a blind date, did he need to be this dramatic?
Chen Yiran walked up to the woman and gave her a polite smile. He then saw a flicker of light in her eyes.
"Miss Yu, I am Chen Yiran. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting," he said indifferently.
"Hello, Mr. Chen," the woman sat in her seat and smiled very ladylike back at him. After checking her reflection on the glass window and ensuring she looked fine, she said to Chen Yiran, "Please, sit."
