Xia Zhisu glanced around indifferently and said calmly, "Not at all!"
Yao Danni also looked around and said, "How come it's gone? It was such a big snake! Its mouth was even bigger than my head! And there seemed to be a man!"
"There's nobody here; you must have seen it wrong," Xia Zhisu soothed.
Indeed, there was no one. Could it have been a hallucination?
"Xia Zhisu! What are you doing here!!" Yao Danni suddenly exclaimed.
"I heard your screams and came out to check, it's good that you're fine."
Xia Zhisu helped Danni to her feet, ready to walk away.
"Xia Zhisu!!" But Yao Danni called out to her.
Yao Danni walked up to Xia Zhisu, arms crossed, quite confrontationally, "It was you, wasn't it! You set up some messy thing to scare me!"
"I'm not that bored."
"Then how could I have seen such a big snake!" Yao Danni demanded.
Xia Zhisu didn't want to argue and simply walked away.
