"We need to go now! Why didn't you leave earlier? I've called an ambulance! I'll take you to the hospital!"
"No need!" Dongye pushed Xia Zhisu away, trying to walk off.
But he staggered.
"Dongye Runyi! I'm begging you! Please go to the hospital with me!" Xia Zhisu shouted, pleading.
The rain washed over her face, as though she was crying for him.
Dongye Runyi handed her his clothes, "I forgot to bring an umbrella. I won't let you get rained on next time."
With these words, Dongye let go of Xia Zhisu's hand and walked away.
"Dongye!" Xia Zhisu chased after him.
A car drove by, blocking her view.
Before long, she could no longer see Dongye.
"Dongye Runyi!!!" Xia Zhisu stood at the roadside, yelling.
It was such a shocking moment; when the car was about to hit her, she didn't even have time to be scared before Dongye saved her!
She wanted to take him to the hospital.
But he struggled to his feet and left in the blink of an eye!
