Danny suddenly realized, her eyes wide with terror. Her legs went weak, and she lurched forward, nearly falling into the Crocodile Pond.
"Danny!!" Xia Zhisu had just come down from upstairs and saw Danny about to fall.
She quickly darted over and grabbed Danny's hand, pulling her back to safety!
"Sister!!" Danny, still shaken, was on the verge of tears when she saw Xia Zhisu and threw herself into her arms.
Xia Zhisu breathed a sigh of relief and patted her shoulder, "It's all right now, it's all right!"
She glared at Ling Tian'ao. She had just seen him push Danny on her way downstairs, almost sending her into the Crocodile Pond!
"Sister! I was so scared!! There are crocodiles down there! I almost fell in!" Danny trembled with fear.
"Don't be scared anymore!" Xia Zhisu comforted her, "You'd better go into the room and rest!"
