The hand Eleven extended to take the cup of coffee was knocked away by Gu Liancheng, "You should have some milk. You're not allowed to drink coffee."
She had no choice but to withdraw her hand.
"Fine, I won't drink it."
"It's for your own good," seeing her grumbling, Gu Liancheng added, "Coffee isn't good for you."
He handed over a cup of heated milk to her.
"How are you planning to explain my identity to Miss Shang? Like yesterday, will you tell her in front of her and Cute, that I'm your wife? Cute's stepmother?" Eleven asked, sipping her milk calmly.
Gu Liancheng looked at her.
He was left wondering how she could be so unperturbed. He wanted to know, was she truly unfazed by the existence of Little Snow and Cute?
If so, there was only one answer: Eleven didn't have him in her heart.
Perhaps, that was the perpetual answer they had agreed upon from the beginning. Their marriage didn't involve love from the outset.
